What the BFA is doing for you

Many people are against fireworks for a number of reasons.
The BFA is working to ensure that your concerns are taken on board and acted upon where possible. To this end, we've outlined below some of the moves the BFA is taking to satisfy some of the concerns raised:

- Removal of 30 million bangers from sale in the UK, with a voluntary ban on airbombs and small rockets

- Noise levels: The BFA is working with the government to ensure that all fireworks have a noise level of 120dB or less

- Development of a code of practice for year-round firework sales

- Reinforcement of a 3-week sales period for smaller newsagent-type outlets of fireworks

- Stamping out at import-level of unclassified, illegal and illegally stored fireworks

The BFA wants to make fireworks safe and enjoyable for everyone. By working with the public, we hope to meet this goal as soon as possible. If you have any questions or comments, please email them to info@b-f-a.org
